I have always had an interest in the military but do not have much knowledge about deployments and how they affect the spouse back home. This topic is an interest of mine because military deployments tend to leave the spouse with a whirlwind of emotions and responsibilities. 

This topic is near and dear to my heart because coming the end of this summer my own husband is getting deployed to Kuwait and I will be the spouse being left home having to take care of the house and family. Goodness gracious, it makes my head spin and makes me feel so overwhelmed with the amount of things that I will have on my plate. I know that he is going to fight for us and the rest of the country but I can’t help but wonder what it will be like for me and our son at home by ourselves.
